Art Therapy

Rich in resources for the arts, Randolph County has many talented individuals willing to share the beauty and expertise of their creations with our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers through various art exhibits and demonstrations.

Visual Arts

Through revolving art exhibits and demonstrations, this program is designed to engage and encourage the many talented people in our community to share their expertise and the beauty of their creations with our patients and visitors. The Randolph Cancer Center has also been the recipient of several locally donated pieces of original artwork that are scattered throughout the entire facility - creating a comfortable and peaceful environment.

Healing Arts

This program focuses on patient participation and having our cancer patients create works to be exhibited in the Randolph Cancer Center. To relieve stress and aid in treatments, patients are encouraged to paint small individual paintings that will be compiled - creating a large patient-painted mural. This mural will be displayed in the Cancer Center for all to see and enjoy.
