Community Grant Initiatives

Each and every day, Randolph Hospital strives to provide care and healing through quality healthcare services. But the hospital’s impact on the community is much broader than the care given within the hospital walls. Through grants funded by the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation, local, non-profit organizations from all around the county are able to provide health and wellness programs that make a difference in the lives of the people they serve.

The Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation was founded in 1995 and awarded its first grants in 1997. Contributions to the Foundation have been a valuable part of the Foundation’s ability to award over $580,000 in grants over the last 15 years. All funds contributed to the Foundation are invested and the income is used to fund non-profit health and wellness projects across Randolph County.

Projects like the Deep River Rail Trail expansion, linking Franklinville and Ramseur and Randolph Community College’s conference on substance abuse resources in Randolph County for families and caregiver of those dealing with substance abuse are just two of the grants that have been awarded over the years from the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation.
