The Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation provides a focused, tax-deductible route for individuals and corporations to give to our community's health needs. Founded in 1995, the Randolph Community Health Foundation uses these contributions to improve health and wellness for the people of Randolph County by offering grants to Randolph Hospital and other community organizations. Representative projects include:

  • American Red Cross Randolph County Service Center: To purchase three automatic external defibrillator simulator/training units and teach life saving cardiopulmonary skills to the community.
  • Boys & Girls Club: To provide health and life skills through four programs: Smart Moves, Triple Play, Presidential Fitness Challenge and Smart Girls.
  • Hospice of Randolph County: To fund the Caterpillar’s Bereavement Camp.
  • Liberty Grove United Methodist Church/Faith Community Nurse Program: To fund educational programs developed and implemented throughout the Liberty area teaching people how to live healthy on a limited income.
  • Randolph Community College: To develop training for approximately 75 home caregivers to be delivered through a one-day “Caregiver College” seminar at Randolph Community College.

Mission Statement

"To enhance the health and wellness of the community through an endowment."

Everlasting Benefit

Gifts to the Foundation become part of an endowment and are invested to earn interest. Only investment income is used for health and wellness projects—never the principal of the donation. This ensures that every contribution will always exist in full, working year after year through ongoing dividends to improve healthcare for the people of Randolph County.

Goodwill is like clay,
Needing attention and imagination to give it shape.
We can help you sculpt something meaningful that
will last forever.

Donations to the Foundation may come as cash, land, real estate stocks and bonds. Honorariums and memorials will be gratefully acknowledged. Deferred gifts such as bequests or charitable trusts are also appreciated. All gifts are tax-deductible.
