Physical Therapy
The goal of the physical therapists at Randolph Hospital is to assist patients in regaining movement and function so they can return to work and the activities they enjoy. Our experts provide comprehensive testing for each patient including evaluation of the patient's current function level.
Following the evaluation, an individualized program is developed providing both treatment and education to improve the patient's mobility. Treatments are designed to promote individual strength, balance, coordination, endurance and mobility, and to encourage patients to use their muscles to their maximum ability.
To reduce the incidence of accidents, physical therapists provide educational seminars and in-service training on avoiding injury at work, home or while playing sports. These programs are designed for children as well as adults.
