Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is the use of medicines (or drugs) to treat disease. Many cancer patients receive chemotherapy as part of their cancer treatment care plan. Randolph Cancer Center offers patient and family-friendly treatment areas for chemotherapy. Most patients receive an average of six chemotherapy administrations lasting about four hours each. These treatments are typically very draining, requiring a significant time and emotional commitment for patients and their families. Our treatment area offers a comfortable environment where patients have much control over their surroundings.

The chemotherapy infusion area offers chemotherapy lounge chairs for patients to recline in and family seating is available. At Randolph Cancer Center, patients and family members are encouraged to receive chemotherapy in a group environment, where patients and families can connect with others in a supportive and relaxing facility. Private treatment areas are also available.
