Randolph Hospital provides many opportunities to help employees meet their professional educational goals. Employees may be eligible for tuition reimbursement after one year of service and they must be working full time.
Eligible employees can receive partial or full payment of registration and application fees for job-related conferences and seminars, advanced certification review courses, advanced certification examinations, and courses that offer continuing education units. Eligibility varies by department.
Randolph Hospital's Education Department provides both Community Education and a variety of classes designed to train and develop both clinical and non-clinical staff. Examples of classes offered include: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Facilitation and Presentation Skills, Time Management, Crisis Management, EKG, Preceptor Workshop, Fire Safety and many more. In addition to instructor taught classes, employees can utilize a wide variety of online education modules through the HealthStream Learning Center.

scholarship program can put a college education within reach for some
very deserving students who wish to work in the healthcare field.
Since 2000, the hospital has identified key positions for scholarship
funding based on current shortages in various healthcare fields as
well as the future needs of the hospital. The positions selected for
2010 include:
Randolph Hospital provides funding for tuition, books and fees ranging from $6,000 - $12,000, depending on the type of degree being sought. Those selected for a scholarship agree to work for the hospital one year for each $3,000 that is used.
Applications will be made available on the Randolph Hospital website in January 2011.
