Opportunities for New Graduate RNs

Randolph Hospital has a Nurse Internship Program that provides educational opportunities in the classroom and in the clinical setting for new nurses as they transition into roles of professional staff nurses in the acute care setting.

The 2010-2011 Interns

We accept new graduates on the following units: Medical Pediatric Services, Inpatient Surgical Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and Maternity Services.

Randolph Hospital's Nurse Internship program is designed specifically for nurses who are just beginning their careers.

The program consists of structured classroom sessions and clinical assignments with skilled, individually assigned preceptors. The program lasts a minimum of 12 weeks, and could extend to 6 months.

The combination of classroom training and clinical experience provides opportunities for new nurses to gain valuable knowledge and build confidence in a caring, supportive environment.

How to Apply

All materials must be received by January 31st, 2012. Randolph Hospital's Nurse Interns starting on July 16th, 2012 may work on one of the following units: Medical Pediatric Services Unit, Inpatient Surgical Unit, Progressive Coronary Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and Maternity Department. During the interview process candidates will be asked to select your top two units. Interviews will be held in February and March. When an offer is made for the internship, we offer a full-time position on a particular unit with the same comprehensive benefit package as all Randolph Hospital nurses. We do not guarantee at the time of employment offer if the position will be a day or night position. This is determined during the course of the internship.
