“Why do I feel so appreciated at work?”
“The Management is very supportive and the benefits are superb.”

I
am pleased that you have taken time to browse the Randolph Hospital
website for the most recent Nursing information. This is a very
special and exciting time for Nursing at Randolph Hospital. The
continued development of our Shared Governance model undergirds
our foundational structure.
As communication and an open door policy are integral to maintaining an engaged and knowledgeable staff, Nursing Leadership is visible and accessible to all staff. There are numerous formal and informal mechanisms in place that facilitate opportunities for staff dialogue and input. Unit Rounding provides a major avenue to leadership and staff interaction. As a result, the nurses at Randolph Hospital have strong, positive and trusting relationships with leadership and enjoy working in an empowered environment.
Additionally, our unit level Governance Councils are operational in all nursing departments. The result is enthusiastic participation at ALL levels. Actually, we may be one of only a few hospitals that have a Nursing Assistant-I Council focused on the Nursing Assistant's role in operations and practice.
Our nursing staff often describes our practice environment as progressive, rewarding and special. It is said that while they continue to embrace the ever changing nature of healthcare, the continued focus on “the patient” makes nursing at Randolph special. Our special focus on our patients has yielded consistently strong quality outcomes and patient satisfaction scores.
This is just a small snapshot of the special working environment that our nurses enjoy at Randolph Hospital. Please give us a call, email or drop by to discuss your future at Randolph Hospital.
Best Wishes,
Tremonteo B. Crawford, RN, MSN
