Each year the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation hosts are variety of special events that raise money for the Foundation. The two major events are DineAround and The Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation Golf Classic. Each event is unique and not only raises funds for the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation, but also raises awareness of the Foundation's initiatives.
Since 1997, The Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation has awarded over $580,000 in grants to improve the health and wellness of Randolph County residents. The Deep River Rail Trail expansion, linking Franklinville and Ramseur and Randolph Community College’s conference on substance abuse resources in Randolph County for families and caregiver of those dealing with substance abuse are just two of the projects that benefit from these special events.
These grants are made through the Foundation’s endowment and Special Events funds. In order to continue to increase the monies available for the support of health and wellness projects in Randolph County, we need to grow these resources.

"To enhance the health and wellness of the community through an endowment."
Gifts to the Foundation, other than through Special Events, become part of an endowment and are invested to earn interest. Only interest income and funds raised through Special Events are used for health and wellness projects – never the principal of the donation. This ensures that every general contribution will always exist in full, working year after year through on-going dividends to improve healthcare for the people of Randolph County.
