The Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation provides a focused, tax-deductible route for individuals and corporations to give to our community's health needs. Founded in 1995, the Randolph Community Health Foundation uses these contributions to improve health and wellness for the people of Randolph County by offering grants to Randolph Hospital and other community organizations.
For 2014, the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation has announced that its annual grant process has begun. Our priorities are programs which support at least one of the following focus areas:
All interested organizations that would like to be considered for funding must complete a Letter of Intent and send it to the Foundation office no later than close of business, June 28, 2013. Download a sample Letter of Intent here.
“The letter itself can be very simple. Just tell us about your organization and what you are planning to do,” says April Thornton, President of the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation. “All we need are a few sentences outlining the idea, budget, number of people that will be impacted and area of focus.”
Interested organizations can find more information and get a sample Letter of Intent by contacting Linda Schumacher at (336) 633-7755 or emailing lschumacher@randolphhospital.org.
"To enhance the health and wellness of the community through an endowment."
Gifts to the Foundation, other than through Special Events, become part of an endowment and are invested to earn interest. Only interest income and funds raised through Special Events are used for health and wellness projects. This ensures that every general contribution will always exist in full, working year after year through on-going dividends to improve healthcare for the people of Randolph County.
Goodwill is like clay,
Needing attention and imagination to give it shape.
We can help you sculpt something meaningful that
will last forever.
Donations to the Foundation may come as cash, land, real estate, stocks and bonds. Honorariums and memorials will be gratefully acknowledged. Deferred gifts, such as bequests or charitable trusts, are also appreciated. All gifts are tax-deductible.
