Once a candidate has expressed interest in an opportunity either by phone call or email, a CV is requested.
The candidate can expect a call from recruiter to speak further about the opportunity and have a discussion about the candidate's desires in a practice.
The CV and additional information will be forwarded on to the lead physician for that practice as well as the clinic administrator.
The lead physician and/or administrator will call the candidate to talk further about the opportunity.
If there is a mutual agreement of interest, the candidate will be asked to provide dates to interview in person.
The physician recruiter will coordinate the visit with the candidate and the group.
Once a mutually agreed upon date is determined, the physician recruiter will contact the hospital sponsored travel agent to contact the candidate and make arrangements for the candidate's air travel, car rental, hotel accommodations. The candidate will receive e-mail to include a copy of travel arrangements, rental car, hotel arrangements and an itinerary of the interview. Maps to the hotel and/or clinic and hospital will be included.
We request the candidate to forward three written letters of reference to the physician recruiter prior to interview date.
The physician recruiter will confirm plans with the candidate a day or two prior to the visit.
During the visit the physician recruiter will guide the candidate through the process for specific area of interest.
The candidate can expect to meet with a hospital administrator, department director as needed, administration for the group and the physicians in the group.
The candidate will have a lunch with the physician recruiter and/or physicians with whom the candidate will work, as well as an evening dinner with the physicians and spouses at a local restaurant in the community or a physician's home.
The candidate can expect a city tour by the community realtor with answers to questions about the community, schools, housing and other topics that may interest candidate and family.
The physician recruiter will give the candidate a timeframe in which to expect an update and/or a decision regarding an offer.
