The Joint Commission Accreditation

In 2009, Randolph Hospital and Randolph Hospital Home Health received accreditation from The Joint Commission (TJC). The Joint Commission is dedicated to improving the quality of the nation's healthcare through accreditation. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, TJC accreditation is recognized as a symbol of quality that reflects Randolph Hospital's commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

To receive accreditation, healthcare facilities must ensure that national safety measures are being met. Because its standards are regarded as the most rigorous in the industry, hospitals evaluated by TJC are committed to providing the highest level of quality care to their patients.

Randolph Hospital's Laboratory received two-year accreditation from The Joint Commission in 2008.
