Physician Leadership Award, Medical Review of North Carolina Ralph E. Snyder Physician Leadership Award

The Ralph E. Snyder Physician Leadership Award is given through the Medial Review of North Carolina and is awarded to one physician each year practicing in the hospital setting who is actively involved in the quality improvement process and who consistently works to engage other physicians in quality improvement activities.

Dr. Scott Hill, Emergency Department at Randolph Hospital, was selected for this award based on his commitment to evidence based care, which is a process that helps to ensure that patients' needs are met with the most advanced medical knowledge available; his direct involvement in the process of improving systems of care at Randolph Hospital and his ability to engage other physicians in the work of quality improvement through multiple areas of care.
