At Randolph Hospital we believe in recognizing
and rewarding outstanding employee, physician and volunteer behavior. As
a result, we have created a program entitled, CARE—
Customers Are Really Everything.
Through the CARE Program, awards are given to those employees, physicians and volunteers who go the extra mile, those who do more than is required in their daily duties and those who put forth the extra effort to deliver more care and service than the customer expected. There are a number of ways employees, physicians and volunteers can be nominated for a CARE Award. The most common way is by filling out a nomination form available at drop boxes located throughout the hospital. E-mails, written letters and phone calls from satisfied customer are also accepted. Each month the nominations are reviewed by a select committee of hospital employees. After review, those selected by the committee are recognized by:
To fully recognize those individuals who did spectacular things, another layer to the CARE Award was developed - the CARE Champion. A CARE Champion is selected from the monthly list of CARE Award nominations, and must have at least 75 percent of votes from the committee who reviews all nominations. These individuals' unselfish actions are viewed as going beyond exemplary and have been deemed as truly going the extra mile for the sake of customer service. They make the big plays when the situation is tough. They work well under pressure and do more than is ever required, asked or expected. There are no more than 12 CARE Champions per year and each Champion award winner receives the following:
A CARE Champion is someone who inspires us and sets the highest example of standards that the rest of our organization continually tries to achieve. We are happy to give you a glimpse of the wonderful employees we have in our organization by sharing the Champions' inspirational stories with you.
