    Carry a bottle of water for your child everywhere you go.

    Add water to your child’s fruit juices to reduce sugar & calories.
  • Tasty Water
    Add lemon, lime or orange slices to your child’s water.
  • Sparkling Water
    Instead of soda try ½ sparkling water and ½ fruit juice with your child.
Add activity
  • Energy Out
    Allow children at least 2 hours of active playtime.

    Park further away from your destination and walk with your child.
  • Pick it Up!
    Pick up the pace when walking with your child.

    Get outside and play with your child.

Reduce TV

    Do not place a TV in your child’s bedroom.

    Make sure your child gets 9.5 hours of sleep each night.
