Medical Library
Randolph Hospital's Medical Library provides research and support
services for medical and hospital staff. In addition, the Medical
Library offers or maintains:
- An extensive collection of nursing and staff video programs
offering continuing education credit in a number of disciplines.
- Resources in obtaining full-text articles via the National
Library of Medicine's DOCLINE system for patrons through self-guided
or Librarian research.
- The TIGR System, an on-demand video patient education system
free of charge to patients and their families. The TIGR has
over 150 programs in English and Spanish to assist and complement
staff-driven patient education and discharge instructions.
- Two PCs for use by staff and patrons on a first-come, first-serve
basis for use in administrative and research needs.
- Study guides for use by staff enrolled in BLS, ACLS, PALS
and ECG classes.
- A/V equipment for use by staff in presentations to hospital
staff and community groups.
- Regular webinars and learning opportunities on topics including
Joint Commission, CMS, and in support of hospital-wide patient
care goals.
The Medical Library is staffed Monday through Thursday mornings.
