Rheumatology Clinic
The Rheumatology Clinic, staffed by board-certified rheumatologists, offers consultative services for those suffering from a rheumatic disease. Patients are initially seen for evaluation and any necessary diagnostic studies and then followed until stable. All primary and short-term care will be left up to the primary or referring physicians, with the patient returning for routine follow-up to the clinic.
A certified rheumatologist works in the clinic on a weekly basis.
Clinic services include consultations for patients who have a difficult-to-manage rheumatic disease. Additional services may include monitoring and/or managing treatments (joint injections) and/or medications, tests specific to patient’s conditions as well as training and education based on the patient’s specific condition.
