At Randolph Hospital, we are committed to providing quality physical and cognitive rehabilitation services for people of all ages. We provide inpatient and outpatient care for a variety of conditions including orthopaedic injuries, stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, work injuries and more.
Randolph Hospital offers the only full-service rehabilitation program in Randolph County that includes physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology. Whatever your condition, our expert staff will work with you and your family to help you return to your fullest level of function as soon as possible. Our Industrial Medicine program includes evaluations, rehabilitation and conditioning, in-services and other options to employers.
Some of the programs and services we provide include:
- 12 exam/therapy rooms—each room is setup to accommodate specialized rehabilitation needs ranging from dedicated pediatric rooms, occupational therapy rooms and private hydrotherapy rooms and private listening booths for speech language pathology.
- A specific area within the unit designed specifically for younger patients—includes a two-way mirror that allows parents or guardians to observe an entire session without disturbing or distracting the patient.
- Industrial training center—under the supervision of a trained therapist, patients can relearn tasks that they performed prior to their injury or operation. These tasks may include everyday errands as well as specific tasks performed on the job, such as lifting a box, climbing a ladder, sawing a board or even turning a key.
- Activities of Daily Living Lab (ADL)—in the lab patients can get re-acclimated to everyday tasks in the home such as washing clothes or dishes, getting in and out of bed and going to the bathroom. The lab is filled with common items such as a washing machine and dryer, sink, dining table, full bathroom, etc., so that patients can gain confidence in knowing that they can safely go back to their normal routines.
- Indoor walking track—our rubberized track helps reduce the impact normally caused by walking on a hard surface. The track surrounds an expanded gym area, which also includes built-in televisions so that patients can choose a television program to enjoy while they exercise.
We’re open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday.
